Star walk
Hike through starry nights - a very special experience! Let yourself be enveloped in the cool darkness of the Kaunertal mountain night and marvel at the beauty of the starlit firmament.
At the Gepatsch in the Kaunertal, away from the cities and far away from the artificial light overexposure, you can experience the Milky Way in incredible detail on a moonless and clear night. Join us on a journey to the stars, the history of the universe.
Accompanied by experts, you will recognize stars and constellations and experience the importance of the stars for people, for our orientation and for the emergence of stories and world views.
Closely intertwined with astronomical cycles, were and still are climatic changes on Earth. Part of the hike will be showing the signs of the times in the Kaunertal. Interesting facts about the glacier, mountain life and its challenges are explained by an experienced mountain guide.
The night-time tour comes to an end on the terrace at the Gepatschhaus, the oldest Alpine Club hut in Austria. While looking through the telescope, the guides will be happy to answer your questions. In a relaxed atmosphere, the impressions experienced about the incomprehensible vastness of the universe, can have their after-effect.

Or how does the word “wild water” sound to you? Exciting! Then we can surely inspire you for a rafting trip in our Alpine river Inn. Only a 12-minute drive from Feichten, in the "H2O" in Ried, the waves make your heart beat faster! The "Area47" in the Ötztal is also the right place to go for everyone, who never wants to forget the refreshing extremes of the Alps again!
Pack your swimming trunks! Whether indoor pool in Feichten, outdoor pool in Prutz, bathing lake in Ried, water playgrounds or cool mountain lakes, everyone will find the right way to cool down in the Kaunertal and the surrounding area, to regenerate after a sunny day in the mountains!
Climbing! The Kaunertal is now an insider tip for all climbing fans! Whether accompanied climbing tour, via ferrata, bouldering, or natural bouldering area in the middle of the forest.... Beginners and experienced climbers get their money's worth here!
How does a bike tour in the middle of the imposing mountains sound? The Kaunertal Glacier Road is irresistible for cyclists who don't shy away from hurdles at over 2000m! Many paths are now also suitable for e-bikers for a fun mountain tour. For mountain bikers there are nearby trails, e.g. in Fendels, Ladis-Fiss-Serfaus or Nauders.
Motorbike enthusiasts love the winding, alpine high roads such as the Kaunertal Glacier Road or the fascinating panoramic road from the Pitztal via the Piller Moor into the Kaunertal. Or you can plan a trip to Lake Resia from here. The Kaunertal is the ideal starting point for numerous tours!
